Many of our carriers are responding to the Shelter in Place orders that many states have taken at this time.  All of these are coming direct from the carriers to our customers.  Currently, most carriers are awaiting approval from each state to process.  We have compiled a list below for you and will continue updating as we receive the information to share!

Allstate – most customers will receive a 15% Shelter-in-Place Payback.  This will apply to auto policies with liability coverage in force by 03/31/2020.  This will also apply to new customers in April.  A credit will be applied to the balance on your account or as a refund sent.

Auto Owners – is taking proactive steps to implement up to a 15% Safe at Home Refund for you.  This will apply to auto policies with bodily injury coverage in force by 03/31/2020.  This will also apply to new customers in April and May.  A credit will be applied to the balance on your account or as a refund sent.

IMT/Wadena – has decided to reduce personal auto premium base rates upon your renewal.  This is beginning with renewals and new business effective 05/22/2020.

Nationwide – Offering a one-time premium refund of $50 per policy from personal auto policies active as of 03/31/2020.

North Star – Current personal and commercial auto insurance customers will receive a 10% premium discount on policies renewing 06/01/2020 through 05/31/2021.  This discount will apply to new business during the same time period.

Progressive – personal auto customers who have a policy in force as of 04/30/2020 will be credited 20% of their premiums.  Customers with policies in force as of 05/31/2020 will also be eligible.  If there is a balance on the account, a credit will be applied.  A refund payment will be sent to those who’s account is paid in full.

Safeco – personal auto insurance customers will receive a 15% refund on two months of their auto premium based on your premium amount as of 04/07/2020.

Travelers – personal auto insurance customers will receive a 15% credit on their April and May premiums through the Stay-at-Home Auto Premium Credit Program.  The company will automatically credit customers’ accounts.
